In this online, 4 hour workshop, you will learn a complete RED Digital Cinema R3D RAW Workflow to trim, edit, grade, and deliver the highest quality images from RED R3D RAW files.
We use RED Digital Cinema cameras daily on episodic TV, natural history documentaries, IMAX films, and everything in between. The RED Digital Cinema R3D Codec has become an industry-standard and preferred by colourists the world over. Offering up to 16-bit RAW files, the R3D codec has many advantages for compositing, colour grading and VFX work. Editors utilise the extra resolution to reframe shots, stabilise footage, and downsample for a cleaner final output.
Yet many editors and colourists are unsure how to work with RED R3D files in post. Join us in this 4-hour online workshop as we walk you through the post-production process to achieve the best image quality from your RED Digital Cinema R3D RAW files.

About Your Trainer
Peter Lightowlers credentials include a diploma in video editing and colour grading from The Australian Film TV and Radio School. He is a trained colourist from the International Colourist Academy. Peter is the only Blackmagic Design certified master trainer for Davinci Resolve in Australia. Peter also specialises in colour grading underwater footage.
